By Antoine Aluqdah
The Lincoln University Lady Lions ended their season Saturday afternoon on a high note beating Salem International University 3-0 for the second time this season.

With their starting goalie Sinforosa Sima out, freshman defender, Emily Woodruff, stepped in to replace her. She recorded four saves and didn’t allow a goal.

Overall, the scoring for the Lady Lions was balanced with three different Lions scoring.

Right before the half, Courtney Moss scored the first goal of the game at 37:11 minutes in.

The other two goals came in the second half, one of which put the dagger into the game by Senior Forward Mariah Coates at 81:30 minutes in.

“I am so proud of us this year,” said Coates. “To end my senior season with a win and score a goal is going to be memorable for me. I wish the best of luck, next season to my teammates. I love them all.”

The Lady Lions end the season at 5-9. Improving by four games, after last season record 1-12-1.
